Money Types

Picture
The concept of psychological archetypes was originally advanced by Carl Jung, the father of modern psychology. In Jung’s psychological framework, archetypes are innate, universal prototypes that are highly useful for interpreting observations or behaviors that are largely unconscious. They represent patterns of behavior or ideas that are part of the “collective unconscious”.

Deborah Price, Founder of Money Coaching Institute, created the eight money types or archetypes in Money Coaching. Much like Jungian archetypes, which define personality types, money types offer a simple way to identify and evaluate your deeply rooted or hard-wired, often subconscious also known as collective unconscious, patterns and behaviors that affect how people react to and handle financial decisions, which describes your relationship with money.  Unfortunately, the patterns and behaviors that reside in the subconscious are often self-limiting and self-sabotaging.

By exploring your subconscious feelings and beliefs about money, you will be more conscious of your habitual money behaviors and be more prepared to change them when they occur.  This necessary exploration is completed through the step-by-step core process of Money Coaching with a Certified Money Coach.

Take the money quiz to start your journey of transforming your relationship with money and creating the financial lifestyle that you desire.
Money Type Quiz
Your money types are not your personality or “who you are”, but more importantly “where you are” as it relates to your relationship with money.

Although individuals may be successful in most areas in their lives, when faced with financial decisions, financial changes or financial crisis, they revert to an ineffective, emotional approach to making decisions about money.
Individuals who are willing to explore their inner relationship with money are much more likely to reach their financial goals.  Those individuals have an easier time making financial decisions and are more successful at manifesting money and realizing their dreams.
