A new year gives us a chance to do things differently...a chance to improve...or just a chance to get better/wiser with time. Take a moment to reflect on the events that took place in your life during 2016.
For the bad or unfavorable events, think about these three questions: What happened? What lesson can I learn? most importantly...What could I have done differently? When you take the moment to reflect, do just as indicated. Take a moment. Do not get stuck reliving the unfavorable events, which can make it difficult to move forward. Just reflect long enough to answer those questions above. Learning the lessons from the unfavorable events and identifying other possible outcomes will help you react differently in similar events that are surely yet to come. For the good or favorable events, cherish those memories and think about how you can create many more of those favorable events in this upcoming year. So tomorrow, reflect and start writing the first page in your book. Remember, you have total control of your actions and what you want written in your book. Take care, be safe and I'll be in touch next year! Shuntel McRaven Certified Money Coach Comments are closed.
